Hi,

As a newcomer to Hibernate forums I have a few questions concerning the format for submitting forum help requests.

Hibernate version:

hibernate-3.2
hibernate-annotations-3.2.0.CR1

Q: Couldn't one just extract this data from the log ?

Q: Couldn't one have persistent forum user state to manage this ? It would be nice if each forum user maintains

Mapping documents:

hibernate.cfg.xml

Q: Is it intended that forum users cut and paste the file in ?

Q: Couldn't there be a security risk if pasting Database connection settings ?

Q: Can one upload a (user/password filtered) copy automatically ?

Code between sessionFactory.openSession() and session.close():

Full stack trace of any exception that occurs:

Name and version of the database you are using:

MySQL, version: 4.0.15-standard
MySQL-AB JDBC Driver, version: mysql-connector-java-3.0.11-stable

Q: Couldn't one extract from log (which is what I just did, a copy and paste from log) ?

Debug level Hibernate log excerpt:

Q: Does this mean '"DEBUG" and up (incl."INFO","WARN"), or 'filter your log file on word "DEBUG"' ?

thanks for feedback,

Darren (webel)
