Hello,
I have a subclass object being persisted in the table of its superclass (with nasty results).
Both the class and the subclass have been mapped to tables
Wy does this occur?
Should i create a Abstract Superclass?
TIA

Hi marefado!

I know from own experience, that this work fine in Hibernate. So I believe, there is some error in your mapping -- which is impossible to detect, since you did not include mapping files. You may want to do this, to get help [see also http://www.hibernate.org/ForumMailinglists/HowToAskForHelp].

Cheers,

René
