After I execute saveorupdate, can I check the return code (i.e. successful or failed)?

If the saveorupdate resulted in a failure then a exception will be thrown. If it succeeded then there wont be any exception. This can be used as an indication of success/failure.

Actually I want to do audit trail using postupdateeventlistener, but the problem is I find the event will be triggered even if the update is not successful (e.g. primary key constraint violation)
