From official Hibernate documentation:

The supported join types are borrowed from ANSI SQL
* inner join
* left outer join
* right outer join
* full join (not usually useful)

I've found, that org.hibernate.dialect.OracleDialect doesn't support "right outer join". Does any one know the reason?

Hibernate version: 3.1.2
