 Post subject: No collections of collections?

Dear all,

On the topic of collections, the hibernate documentation states the following:

"Collections may not contain other collections. " (http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/refer ... tions.html)

Does this really mean I can't have something like: one A can have many B's and one B can have many C's? What should I do, if my classes have such a relationship?

No, you can have such classes. It means that the elements in the collection cannot be plain collections. But you can have collections that contain complex types that have one or more collections that contain other complex types that....[/quote]
