I have some problems, with making associations persistent.
Sometime after declaring a hbm-files the associations are not persistent and Hibernate doesn't tell me why.
Normally a prolem with schema declaration but is there a tool or something to validate the hbm-fles against the java classes?

Thanks,
Juergen

Why do you need to validate hbm files with your java files?
You always need to comapre your hbm files with your database.
java file creation comes next. I'm not sure if i had answered your query.

There are tools and plug-in's to do this.
Try eclipse's Guidepost and there are many hibernate mapping tools you can download and use to generate the hbm files from your database.

Try this Link:
