Hibernate named Filters & native SQL

Hibernate version:3.1.1

Is it possible to use named filters, like for instance:

<filter name="searchFilter" condition=":searchTerm like UPPER(display_name) OR :searchTerm like UPPER(rpt_description)"/>

when doing a native SQL call using session.createSQLQuery(...)?

nope. there is a jira issue for it though
