Using Hibernate + String + struts with WSAD5.1.1. Working fine with cassloader = "PARENT_FIRST". If I change it to PARENT_LAST getting error.

bit of a guess here, but does your stack trace include any class cast exceptions?

Does your webapp package java.sqlDatasource? That is, do you have any jars that include this class inside web-inf\lib?

In order to successfully use Parent_last, in my experience, you don't want copies of classes that WAS will likely load before your app.

Please the thred in my original post for more information.I am using Oracle database.If I change it to PARENT_FIRST, problem gone. But I need to keep it as PARENT_LAST. Thanks for suggetion.

Any more thoughts please ?
