We have around 2 million records and are doing a search. We get the following error when doing a serach (we are using spring + hibernate)

1. When we run the query directly at the database it executes within 30 seconds? But what can be the reason for results not reaching the hibernate layer?

2. What is TimeoutManager ? The thread id of TimeoutManager seems to be different from the thread executing code.

3. We are not getting any exception in case of timeout. The hibernate layer keeps waiting. Is this desired behaviour?
