 Post subject: How to write changed settings back to hibernate.cfg.xml ?

My application might change some hibernate settings in the run-time. I want to the new settings saved in hibernate.cfg.xml, so next time, there will no need to change them again?

I can do this by file and DOM operations. Is there any better way?

take a look at the tool set and find the java that implements hbm2cfgxml .
