Hibernate collections are considered to be a logical part of their owning entity; never of the contained entities. This is a crucial distinction!

1. what is owning entity ?
2. waht is contained entities?

pls explain with an example.

If a Customer has a List of Orders, each Order instance is a "contained entity" and the Customer instance is the "owning instance".
