Is anybody successfully using the above combination (or even above w/o spring)?

Were there any gotcha's to making it work?

I'm aware of the sealed [jmx] jar issue with JBossCache and Websphere.

Matt

Why going to trouble with two already integrated features (in JBossAS) porting them to Websphere?

Why run these features in Websphere?
1. Because JBossCache is supposed to function in any App server.
2. Because we are not ready to port this application to JBoss
3. JBossCache provide features I need to without locking me in to any specific vendor's container.

I am now successfully using the above combination w/spring for a read-mostly caching situation.
