I couldn't locate this within JIRA, but I was wondering if the join issue in subqueries (inability to use joins in a subquery even though the detached criteria explicitly specifies that it should) has been resolved in the latest 3.1 version?

I can confirm that this doesn't work now in 3.1.

Can anyone suggest a work around for using subqueries with joins in QBC?

Seems like a pretty funamental feature for the Criteria API to have particularly when faced with a sophisticated query builder. I've been a proponent of non-HQL based builders for sometime, but may have to rethink this without a decent workaround or fix...

Suggestions are welcomed...
