Hello

I would like to get to know whether there is a hibernate implementation documentation available. I will have to lead a seminar on Hibernate implementation details and searching Hibernate site, forum and also doing some google search I did not found any results.

If these papers (it's quite probable that developers created some more general documentation about their main implementation guidelines) were not shared, would it be possible to ask for some of them?

All the API docs and rich reference manual does not concern Hibernate implementation almost at all.

best regards and thank you in advance for your help

Not exactly sure what you're talking about that is not in the Reference Manual but maybe you should try the book Hibernate In Action.

Also. the wiki - http://www.hibernate.org/37.html - contains many community supplied architecture and design patterns as well as links to external documents.

Hmmm... I mentioned a typical kind of papers developers create for other developers in order to facilitate their understanding of program structure, module functions and dependencies and so on...

OK, but all of them describe how to _use_ Hibernate. The information I'm looking for is how Hibernate was implemented, what algorithm were utilized to aquire the goals, what king of developers aproach, what tricks and programmatical solutions are to be found in its code.

These details can be provided by Javadoc generated from Hibernate source. But... is there any more general, not so "low-level" information resource?

best regards and thanks for any help
