Hello,
When using a CompositeUserType to combine year, month and day SQL columns into a Java Date the generated SQL for an HQL query takes the form of SELECT ... FROM ... WHERE (year, month, day) >= (?, ?, ?) and in MySQL this construct (comma separated columns inside of parenthesis) is valid syntax. It does not work for DB2400 (and possibly others), however and we're wondering where and/or how this can be adjusted.

Thanks for any help offered.
Peter

Hibernate version: 3.0.5
Dialect: DB2400

Thanks for the reply. We're already using the DB2400 dialect but it is generating the (?,?,?) syntax which is not valid for DB2/400. Thinking that Hibernate needs to be modified ... looking for advice on how/where to do so. -- Peter
