 Post subject: Hibernate and standalone applications

Hello!
I already know that I only can use EJB 3.0 in a desktop application with an application server.
So, I'd like to know if I can use the new Hibernate EntityManager and Hibernate Annotations (together with Hibernate 3.1) in desktop applications without an application server, as users of Hibernate 3.0 can.

Yes, using the JBoss embeddable EJB container.
