can anybody help me finding advantageous features of JBoss over Apache Geronimo?

Well Hibernate is one ;-)
To be serious your question is too vague. Narrowing to the ORM part of each app server. JBoss comes with a preview of EJB3 and ease the Hibernate configuration through the .har deployment
Geronimo, only support CMP2.
