 Post subject: How to store server configuration data

I am using Hibernate with Mysql on linux. Actually I have to do server level configuration. I have to store the server configuration data into Mysql thro' hibernate and then retrieve it back so that my application uses that data to run in that enviornment.
Kindly help out with this by providing the procedure how to do it.
