 Post subject: Reverse Engineering: can't get meta data (Sybase driver)

I finally determined why Ant HibernateToolTask could not successfully reverse engineer my Sybase database: the call to getMetaData on the java.sql.Connection interface returns no meta data.

What causes a JDBC driver to return no DB meta data and what is the remedy?

Check the rigths of the user you are using on Sybase.
