Hi friends,

I"ve created an entityID class to hold the compound primary key for my entity class. However, when I attempt to generate the descriptors using XDoclet, it prints this message:

54 ) <<Class com.myco.myapp.dao.hibernate.entity.ImportGroupHibernateEntityID misses ID property>>

QUESTION:
So does this mean I also need to declare an id field for the entityID class???

I've searched the Hibernate docs and this forum, XDoclet examples and docs and all over the net, but have only found bits and pieces; nothing that helps. So now I'm looking for a kind soul that could offer a pointer or two.

My sincerest thanks in advance.

Peer

Consider putting this post in the http://forum.hibernate.org/viewforum.php?f=6

You'll most likely get a faster response.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I didn't choose 'Tools' forum originally because I thought this was more of a Hibernate question (use of XDoclet was peripheral).

But I just posted it there. Hope to get a response.

Got the answer. I simply shouldn't have included @hibernate.class tag in the entityID class.
