Most of it is no different that using it in any other environment but Hibernate In Action - Chapter 8 - covers using applications in a Servlet Engine (Tomcat)

Well, the first chapter of the documentation is actually a Tomcat/Hibernate tutorial. I don't know what could be easier to find, assuming the user reads documentation.

one thing that could be useful. i found out that my jsp page wouldnt work without asm.jar copied to its folder. asm.jar is never mentioned in reference manual!

No, but it tells you to read lib/README.txt for the current release, which hopefully isn't too much to ask.

Actually you are completely wrong. "asm" is even listed in the table in the Tomcat tutorial.

Hi all,

Thanks for your replies. Sorry I am not specific on my problem. Even after following all the steps specified in documentation, I still had javax.ransaction.Synchronization error.

Any way i solved it .

I'm not wrong. In the document for hibernate 3.0 asm is never mentioned. I ran a search through it and found nothing
