Need help with Hibernate? Read this first:
http://www.hibernate.org/ForumMailingli ... AskForHelp

Hibernate version: 3.0

Mapping documents:

Code between sessionFactory.openSession() and session.close():

Full stack trace of any exception that occurs:

Name and version of the database you are using: Oracle 10g

The generated SQL (show_sql=true):

Debug level Hibernate log excerpt:

I am using hibernate 3.0 and I have two problems.
First one is to make a query with join. I don't know how to make a call like by criteria:

select pb.name, rd.age
from pb,rd
where pb.city=rd.city
Should there be a class whose attributes are pb.name and rd.age? Or can I make such a call to retrieve them in List type?

Second problem is about working with XML data files. Can I create an object from an XML file whose format is appropriate for my class and can I write back my object in an XML file which doesn't exist by using hibernate

Have a good day...
