Hibernate version:2.1.8

Name and version of the database you are using: MySQL 4.1

I'd like to get bi-directional assotiation between to entities ex. between tables STUDENTS and EXAMS with some properties of that assotiation (ex. STUDENTS_EXAMS with tables: student_id, exam_id, grade, date). How to write the mapping file in such a way to get bidirectional assotiation? I've read in Chapter 9.2 of docs that it's not possible with composite-element element. Do you know any solution?
Thanks

Greg
