...and introduced schema support. I already collected some information here:

Am I on the right track, or does Hibernate an entirely new Dialect implementation?!

Hypersonic 1.8.0 is final by now. And the current CVS dialect still fails to use sequences correctly. Or is it only me, experiencing these problems?

Create a new 1.8 dialect inherit from an older one and insert the new sequence sql segment as required. Test it - once its working then submit it to JIRA for all of us to benefit. Should not take long at all and your helping the community.

Done. Already in JIRA unter HHH-608. (Link is in the initial post)

Done. Partly. At least one or two of the examples from here http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/annotations/reference/en/html_single/#d0e385 do work with the new dialect.

So, this is a request for testing. ;)
