Hibernate version:3.0

I would like to have your valuable input into my thinking.
I am devloping a client and server application. I have implmented Hibernate in my server. However I want to implement Hibernate in client side too. So would it be possible to have a Hibernate session at Client to set of POJOs for caching without any database operation?

I would appreciate and gratefull if anybody gives so suggestion?

regards,
Ranjan

To cache at client side, why you need hibernate?

Well in client side, I am thinking of using Hibernate for the purpose of its strength like caching, lazy loading etc..
