Hi,

I'm trying to write a query which selects objects where objecttype.name doesn't start with an alpha. I don't have a strong SQL background and I haven't been able to work out how to do this other than the brute force approach which creates an ugly long query.

I'm sure there must be a simpler way to do this - any suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Pete

from User where lower(substring(userName, 1, 1)) not between 'a' and 'z'
