 Post subject: Proxy / Instance Comparison

Hibernate version: 2.1.8

Is there any way to compare a Hibernate proxy and an instance to find out if they're the same underlying object (for instance, a way to ask Hibernate for the contents of the lazy proxy if there is one).

e.g. if( Hibernate.deproxify( objectOne ) == Hibernate.deproxify( objectTwo ) )
