Hi,

To update in hibernate as far as I know you first retrieve a reference to the object then change the fields and they get updated in database.

I have a form from struts. I use BeanUtils and end up w/ an object that the user saved.

If I take the reference from the database and assign the one w/ the new values in it it just creates a new record. Is there any way to update all fields in the database without manually having to assign every field?
