Hi all,

While browsing the hibernate website I stumbled on this page http://www.hibernate.org/80.html , which implies that using timestamps with oracle is unsafe, however this is not mentionned anywhere on the official pages. Can someone (preferably from the team) confirm or infirm this please?

Additionaly, if someone has a unit test to verify if a specific version of the driver has this problem, I would love to get my hands on it, for I couldn't find much ressources about this problem.

Thanks,

Jean

just store something and load again - if something is missing (like the seconds of a timestamp or the decimals after the decimal point in a number) then you know you have bad driver.
