I am interested in XmlDatabinder and exporting Hibernate objects and later importing them.

I read in the documentation a sketch of how to do this and then saw the following line:

It is extremely useful to combine this feature with Hibernate's replicate() operation to implement XML-based data import/export.

WHat is Hibernate's replicate() operation?

Where can I find info on this?

Thanks in advance for your help

FYI I am using Hibernate 3.0.2

Section 10.9 of the 3.0.1 docs 11.9 of the 3.0.3 docs... I don't have the 3.0.2 docs around....
