Hello:

I'm running into trouble when I do the same query multiple times. It happens right before it actually runs the query:

2005-05-05 11:40:36,615 DEBUG [net.sf.hibernate.impl.BatcherImpl] - <about to open: 0 open PreparedStatements, 0 open ResultSets>

I get that in the log then it just hangs there and nothing happens. Am I configuing something wrong? The weird thing is that it works fine the first couple of times, but then after a few reloads it stops working.

You did not post your complete stacktrace. It's hard to guess.

Are exceptions thrown?

If this is the case: The session should not be reused if an error occurs. It should be destroyed and further persistence calls should be made in a new session.

Or else, if you are using transactions, maybe you are creating write locks on your tables. Look on your table locking status.
