Looked around and found one reference to a good book on hibernate, but it was for version 2. Is there a good resource that slowly explains hibernate version 3? -- I've gotten the system to work somewhat, but the different options for collections and mappings really keep my head spinning.

Thanks,

For a beginner, H3 and H2 are (almost) the same. You should not have any problems starting with a H2 tutorial and H3. We'll release a new >20 page tutorial in a few days in the main documentation. Check it out from CVS (half done) if you need it now.
