 Post subject: how to use to_date date function in hibernate Expression

Hello,

I am running a search on the database base, based on date range. The column holding the date is of type DATE.
Since i am using sql.date object to search for the values, the date comparison does not return the expected values.
The hibernate version used is 2.1.

Please guide me in this regard.
