Hibernate version: 2.1

Name and version of the database you are using: MS SQL 2000

I am designing an application with thick client communicating ObjectSerialization protocol over HTTP. Is there anyway, or shortcut, i can get rid of Hibernate collections as well as Sessions at server side so that i don;t need the hibernate.jar or any other dependencies at client side.

I have tentative fixes in place, but they won't scale well.

Please reply,

Nirav
