why not set a default value what definiens by DDL on save()?

a datetime field has a default value definiens by DDL.

so, I did not set the property of the value object.

after session.save(object), the record has not default value of the field.

why ?

must I set the property of the value object?

Did you have a look at the statement which gets prepared? And do you understand how databases apply default values?
