Hello,

using ehcache with hibernate 2.1.8, I have the following question:

We use multiple webapps in a single container, and obviously want to share the 2nd level cache between each webapp.

Hibernate lives in the webapp classloader.

Is it safe to put ehcache in the global classloader which is shared by each webapp? Could it lead to transactional problems?
