In our existing as400 system we have the same table in different libraries. We have (more or less) a set of tables for each location where are active and the tables themselves have no location notion.
How could we map this situation for applications that use the data from all the different libraries at once?

Using subclasses that each map to a different library? This would require a lot (20-30) of classes and is not very user friendly when new locations must be added (this does happen from time to time) .

Using a map of a lot of different sessionfactories that are generated programmatorically?

Are there any other (better) solutions?

Bart.
