Hello,

Can someone show me how to setup hibernate3 for accessing
db2. They are running in XP.

===hibernate.cfg.xml===================
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<!DOCTYPE hibernate-configuration PUBLIC
"-//Hibernate/Hibernate Configuration DTD//EN"
"http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd">

<hibernate-configuration>
<session-factory>
<property name="connection.driver_class">COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver</property>
<property name="show_sql">false</property>
<property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.DB2Dialect</property>

<!-- Mapping files -->
<mapping resource="org/hibernate/examples/quickstart/Cat.hbm.xml"/>

</session-factory>
</hibernate-configuration>
======hibernate.cfg.xml===================

Thanks.

Tom - I had trouble initially as well - here is the link to my post and my resolution:

I can see right away that you are missing the URL property in your config file, however.

Hope this helps.

Patrick
