Can I update two separate databases in one transaction using Hibernate? So I would assume that I would be using two different SessionFactories and two different Sessions. They would need to be related into one single transaction.

Thanks,

-jay

Sure you can. Using multiple Tx Resources and using TX Transaction manager you can have 2PC work fine with Hibernate.

David,

Im also facing a similar problem to jaybytez. Could you please give a small example using the approach you described to jaybytez?

Thanks.
