I apologize if this subject has already been killed to death, but I am looking for some specific points that would help me in directing an architecture towards using Hibernate as opposed to Entity Beans. I worked in a massive architecture as a developer that used Hibernate as the persistence framework. But have switched jobs to a senior developer with a shop stuck on Entity Beans and accepting all EJB specs as is. Now that my role is changing, I am trying to help in the acceptance of the benefits that Hibernate provides over Entity Beans. But I have only utilized this from a developers perspective and not from an architects perspective. Could you point me to an article or few points (which I could research) that highlight the significant improvements of using Hibernate of Entity Beans?

Thanks for the help and time!
