I am quite new to java and a complete newbie to hibernate technology. My question will propably seem complitly stupid to most of you... enyway there it goes.

I am reading a tutorial for hibernate(http://www.gloegl.de) and i came across a line of code that i cannont comprehend.

ClassName objectName = (ClassName)

What kind of decleration is this? Please someone explain or give me some pointers to where i sould look... i searched the web for java sytax but with no lack.
