I have a User class that has a dependent ContactDetails attribute. This ContactDetails attribute also has a dependent Address attribute.

I would like to customise the database column names used for this dependent of a dependent Address attribute.

The syntax for the @Dependent annotation does not seem to allow for anything but simple @DependentAttributes inside it.

I've tried specifying the attributes in the Address object by using a dot:

@DependentAttribute(name = "address.country", column = @Column(name = "COUNTRY"))

but that seems to be ignored.

What I'd really like is to somehow 'nest' DependentAttributes, so rather than specifying a @Column here, I'd specify a whole new @DependentAttribute.

Any ideas of how I can get the result I want?

Actually, the spec does not define anything on that, so I didn't do anything :-)
Can you provide you case to ejb3-feedback@sun.com
