JBoss 4.0.1 and Hibernate3

Hibernate version:
3.0 Beta

Is there any word on when Hibernate3 will make it into JBoss? Does anybody know if there is a patch that can be applied to JBoss to integrate Hibernate3 code?

What I was looking for was a drop in replacement for the hibernate-deployer for version 3.x. Is there a timeline for this or is EJB3 the replacement for the hibernate-deployer?

There is currently no timeline for a backport of Hibernate3 integration to JBoss 3.x/4.x. We are focused on the EJB3 implementation. However, it should be relatively easy to port this.
