Using hibernate 2.1 with mysql 4.1, i'm seeing some auto trimming being done example, value is "rules " however after querying back from the database, the value is "rules". Mysql column type is varchar(255).

Anyone experiencing this?

Thanks
Amin

Don't use MySQL if your data is important.
