 Post subject: How to load <composite-id> object without using query

I was wondering that is there a way to load object with composite key from table without using seesion.createQuery()? What if I want to load instance(compostie-id) from cache, not hitting database.

And also, does load() call do automic dirty checking for us? I know that get() does.
