Hibernate version:
Hibernate 2.1.7

I've been trying to dive through the code and the forum to figure out if the order of calls on a Configuration objects is significant.

The calls I'm concerned about are add* and configure()

Should the add* calls be called before or after configure(), or does it really matter?

I realize that I must make all my configure and add* calls before calling buildSessionFactory().

After playing around with various combinations and ordering of calls to

Code:
Configuration.configure()
Configuration.setProperty()
Configuration.addProperties()

It does not seem to make a difference what order these methods are called. Can I draw the same conclusion for other add* methods?
