hi,
I want to use a Oracle 9i function from hibernate, how can I do this.
A short example would be very nice.

A large number of the functions are implemented by the Oracle dialect for use in the select clause - it is restricted to this known set. Outside of the select clause your free to use what ever your like as its passed directly to SQL engine.
