hi i just tried to store a byte[] into my database which is longer than 255 bytes.
hibernate gives me the ability to define the type binary to map a byte[] but it
create a varchar with length 255 wich doesn't fit to my problem.
knows anybody if it is possible to change the varchar to a longtext? or
is there an other type which can fit my problem in the hibermate mapping?

thanks for response
