I'm using Hibernate version: 3.1 and am having a problem with an old Sybase installation using the jConnect JDBC driver. Hibernate is throwing an exception related to the fact that the database does not support Metadata accessor methods. I'm looking for a way to disable this in Hibernate because I can't add the StoredProcedures that are required to make the database provide the Metadata.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

BTW: I didn't attach the rest of the requested troubleshooting items to the request because my code works fine with the tables "dummied up" in PostgreSQL.
