Hibernate version:
2.1.6

Hi,
In our project we have to use JDBC calls (for mass update) in our system, but we also use Hibernate. My question is what should be done before JDBC calls in Hibernate.

Should I close Hibernate session or is it enought if I close Hibernate connection before JDBC calls ?

You should do your JDBC calls within the scope of a Hibernate session by doing session.connection()
